Royce Hudson

Royce Hudson comes to Meridian with over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.  Royce spent five years in the New York offices of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Nomura’s Capital America group where he specialized in originating Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (“CMBS”).  During that period, he managed due diligence and underwriting for numerous public and private CMBS transactions valued in excess of $15 billion.  Prior to relocating to New York in 1997, Royce was a member of the Real Estate Investment Group of Pacific Life Insurance Company in Newport Beach, where he worked on repositioning strategies for REO properties.

Most recently, Royce served as Vice President of the Capital Markets group in the Los Angeles office of Jones Lang LaSalle (“JLL”), where he was involved in asset sales, financings and recapitalizations valued in excess of $1.2 billion. 

In his capacity as Director of Finance for Meridian, and as one of the co-founders of Meridian Green, Royce sources and manages the companies’ on-going capital and financing requirements. He is also active in sourcing acquisitions and managing dispositions for the firm. 

Royce holds a dual major BA degree in Economics and German Language from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and resides in Silver Lake area of Los Angeles with his wife Linda and their two children.
